| Pillars of Peace 2000 | ||||
| Edmonton Culture of Peace community art project: Pillars of Peace was inaugurated at the 2000 Edmonton Heritage Festival. Amy Loewan was invited to be the artist consultant and she initiated the idea of this project. The public was asked to draw/paint their visions of peace onto large sonal tubes (paper columns for pouring concrete structures). This project was subsequently conducted in schools, community centres and many public events. | ||||
